What’s included?

  • Birthday activities are $45/child for 2-hour event (about 90 mins for the selected activity, and 30 minutes for food and drink)

  • Activity facilitators (10:1 ratio or better), all parts & materials

  • 700 square foot private space equipped with a private washroom, sink and use of fridge & freezer. 

  • Invitation template & simple birthday decorations 

  • Cafe drink included for adult(s) once booking confirmed 

  • Loot bag add-on available for +$5/kid

HANDS-ON CRAFTS

Laser Cut Felt Pencil Case or Stuffie

Keep your school supplies safe or make yourself a new soft friend! Assemble, sew and decorate a laser-cut pencil case or stuffie.

Charm Friendship Bracelet (assembly only)

Calling all jewerly lovers and accessorizers! Design and assemble a friendship bracelet with decorations, beads and laser-cut charms

Art Bot
Assemble and decorate a laser-cut kit, install a single axis motor and wire to a 9V battery
 

Light-up laser cut Treehouse
Use laser cut pieces to assemble your own treehouse, complete with warm, glowing LED light inside that you assemble yourself! You'll get all the pieces & plenty of customizable decorative pieces to bring your treehouse to life!
 

LED Diorama 

Kids will use laser cut pieces, complete with one of a variety of characters we provide, to create a light up diorama with an LED that they’ll learn to wire themselves! You’ll get all the pieces and plenty of craft materials to customize and bring your dioramas to life! Ask us about customized diorama characters (additional fee may apply).
 

4-Wheeler Bot

Perfect for aspiring engineers & artists alike! You can choose the theme that's most special to your child, and they'll  learn about batteries and  motors to create a car-bot of their choice!

$20 one-time fee for custom designs we'll create especially for you!

COMPUTERS

Recommended for ages 7+

Minecraft
Each child receives their own laptop, and the group enters a private world of Minecraft to complete activities & build together, facilitated by one of our Minecraft experts!


Intro to Laser Cutting
Learn about laser cutting & 2D design! Customize a pre-selected project (key-chain, coaster, bookmark) in Adobe Illustrator. Learn about the workings of a laser-cutter and see an in-person demonstration of your design being cut.


 

Intro to 3D Printing

Learn about 3D printing & 3D modelling! Design your own small custom project in TinkerCad, learn about the process behind 3D printing and see an in-person demonstration of our 3D printers in action.

NB: Due to the nature of 3D printing, projects will be received at a later date.

Animations with Wick Editor

Dive into the world of animation with WickEditor, a 2D animation software for beginners and kids. Kids will get to create their own animations and at the end we’ll share our animations with the group!

Custom, Laser-Cut Charm Friendship Bracelet

*Recommended for Ages 8+

Calling all accessory lovers! Design a custom charm in Adobe Illustrator and watch it get laser-cut! Assemble a friendship bracelet with decorations, beads and your charms. 

Acrylic Lamp

Make a custom nightlight! Design and laser cut an acrylic panel and wire a single LED light with a coin cell battery pack with a switch, assemble and decorate a laser-cut kit.

Custom Laser-Cut Plushie

*Recommended for Ages 8+

Bring your favourite creature to life! Design your own custom plushie in Adobe illustrator. Lasercut, assemble, sew and decorate your creation to your hearts desire.

Pricing

Birthday activities are $45/child; price includes activity facilitators and all parts & materials and use of the private space. Food & drinks can be purchased separately & are not included in the activity price.

Other details

 

Booking and Payment

  • Minimum of 5 activity participants for parties, max of 20 kids, and up to 25 with enough notice

  • Set booking times: Saturdays from 1-2pm or 4-6pm and Sundays from 10am-12pm or 1-3pm

  • 5-child non-refundable deposit ($225) required to hold the booking

  • We'd ask you to confirm the final number of participants 1 week before the party; this number would be used for final payment after the party. For no-show participants, we can package a maker kit for you to take home for most activities

  • You can bring your own food & drink into the birthday activity space - no nuts please! 

  • Catering from Circles & Squares available 

  • Tablecloths are provided for the tables and we have reusable cups and plates you can use, please bring all other items needed ie, cutlery, napkins, serving trays etc.

  • Parents are welcome to stay in the space, or relax in our separate cafe area until the party ends

Location & Accessibility

  • Plenty of nearby parking available, and easy access from Dufferin & Ossington TTC subway stations

  • Our lower level event space does not have an accessible entrance; please ask us about hosting on our main floor accessible space!
