STEAM SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS

We host half- or full-day STEAM field trips for students across the GTA in our makerspace or we can come to you!

We are an approved TDSB Vendor!

We offer workshops for ages 5 and up in a variety of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) topics, including 3D-printing, laser-cutting, basic electronics and more. Our activities provide hands-on learning opportunities so that participants leave not only with new skills and knowledge, but with individual projects that showcase their personalities.

• Half- or Full-Day Option - morning and/or afternoon sessions

• Private Space - we host you in our separate, dedicated maker space

• Convenient Location - We are centrally located at 1052 Bloor St W. At Havelock, just
east of Dufferin. We are a 5 minute walk from both Dufferin and Ossington TTC stations.
• On-site Visit - we come to you! Only 3D printing or Robotics available for this option.
• Cost - starting at $20 per child. All materials, laptops, software included.
• Ages - from 4 years old and up

Analog Crafts

Intro to Laser Cutting	Learn about laser cutting & 2D design. Customize a pre-selected project (key-chain, pin, bookmark) in Adobe Illustrator. Learn about the workings of a laser-cutter and see an in-person demonstration of your design being cut.	2D Design (Adobe Illustrator), Laser-cutting
Intro to 3D Printing NB: Due to the nature of 3D printing, projects will be received at a later date.	Learn about 3D printing & 3D modelling. Intro to Coding in Scratch	Learn about Scratch, a drag and drop coding platform for beginners and kids! We’ll learn how to code a simplified version of Geometry Dash. Kids will then play the games they’ve created	Coding (Scratch), Computational Thinking
