 Minecraft Day Theme 1

In the morning we will be creating our own wood minecraft signs with our laser cutter! We will use adobe illustrator to create shapes and add personalized text to our signs. Then we will experiment with different textures, patterns and effects to make our signs look extra minecraft-y!

In the afternoon we will have time to play minecraft with our fellow campers, exploring, crafting and hunting for materials and maybe even treasure!

Minecraft Day Theme 2

Today we will be making a circling phantom! In the morning we will spend some time learning about motors and circuits by wiring up our own, this is what will make our phantoms spin! We'll build a platform and rig for our phantoms, and take some time to customize them as well with markers, googly eyes, precut wood decorations and lots of other crafting materials!

In the afternoon, we will see where our creativity takes us in Minecraft. We could set up mini-games, go hunting for treasure, build a TNT launcher, or even try to find the ever-elusive Herobrine.

Maker Day Theme 1

Today we will be designing our own puzzles in adobe illustrator and using our laser to cut them out of wood.

We'll begin in the morning with a hand drawn sliding tile puzzle, and in the afternoon move on to a more challenging jigsaw puzzle with drawings created in illustrator. We'll then spend some time solving our friends' puzzles, and showing our fellow campers the different designs we created!

Maker Day Theme 2

Today we will be learning about 3D modeling and printing! Campers will spend the morning designing a 3D ring, keychain or pendant in tinkercad. Campers will then get to watch their designs come to life with the help of our 3D printer. In the afternoon we will be assembling and decorating a laser cut jewelry box to hold our 3D printed creation.
