1. Stencil Ruler
Campers will use Inkscape design tool to design their own stencil rulers to add some personality to their study notes.
2. Drawing Machine
Campers will learn about mechanical and mathematical concepts while also practicing their fine motor skills by building an analogue drawing machine similar to an etch-a-sketch.
3. Music Production & Animation with Groove Pizza & Wick Editor
Campers will learn about rhythm and tempo by producing their own beats using Groove Pizza, a web based drum sequencing platform for beginners and kids. Those who would like to can also create an accompanying animation for their beats.
4. LED Haunted House Diorama
Campers will create haunted house dioramas with laser cut pieces and working lights! We’ll wire up an LED, assemble our pieces then decorate the haunted houses
5. Articulated Bat 3D Print
Campers will learn about 3D modelling by designing a bat with articulated wings that flap using hinges.
6. Monster Trucks - Design
Campers will design monster trucks inspired by their own Halloween costumes in Inkscape, a design program
7. Monster Trucks - Assembly
Campers will receive their laser cut pieces from last week, then wire up a motor. We’ll assemble our Monster Trucks with the motors inside, decorate and add some wheels to make our Monster Trucks go!
