STEAM SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS & PROGRAMMING

Bring your students to The Maker Bean for a half- or full-day of making and fun!

• Half- or Full-Day Option - morning and/or afternoon sessions

• Private Space - we host you in our separate, dedicated maker space
• On-site Visit - we come to you! Only 3D printing or Robotics available for this option.
• Cost - starting at $15 per child. All materials, laptops, software included.
• Ages - from 6 years old and up

Learn about Laser Cutting

We'll walk you through all the steps of designing your own laser cut piece, one laptop per child, and then watch your creation be laser cut!

Programs used:
• Adobe Illustrator

Learn about 3D Printing

Learn about 3D modelling and where to find 3D printable designs, one laptop per child, and see how a 3D printer works.

Programs used:
• Tinkercad
• Thingiverse
• Prusa Slicer

*3D prints will be need to be picked up on a different day

Robotics & Science

Tech-focused creative activities using motors, LEDs and more.

Tools such as laser cutters, 3D printers & wood-working tools, and with 1 laptop per child may be used.
